CAHSAH Home Care Aide Certification

This agency has submitted materials documenting that it meets CAHSAH's Certification Standards for Home Care Aide Organizations. Such requirements are in addition to those that went into effect as a result of the California Home Care Aide Organization licensure statute effective January 1, 2016.

The Certification Standards include:

  1. Department of Social Services, Home Care Services Bureau License #
  2. Company policy for providing in-person supervision of all caregivers.
  3. Procedure on interviewing new caregiver applicants.
  4. Copy of written grievance policy.
  5. Company’s template for client plan of care.
  6. Company’s written agreement that specifying client fees.
  7. Copy of workers’ compensation policy.
