Ginny Kenyon has more than thirty years’ experience in home health services and sixteen years’ experience managing private pay services. Over the past seven years, Ginny personally help launch more than thirty private duty and Medicare certified agencies across the country. She has written state compliant administrative policies and procedures manuals, personnel and patient forms, and employee handbooks. Additional, Ginny has written multiple disease-specific self-study modules for aides, co-authored numerous articles for community health nursing publications and co-authored a book on Nursing Delegation for Home Health.

Ginny Kenyon is Founder and Principal of Kenyon HomeCare Consulting, LLC, a consultancy firm that helps home health care starts-ups and organizations in all stages of transition enjoy long-term, sustainable business success. Focusing on Medicare-certified home health, hospice, and private pay agencies Kenyon HomeCare Consulting services range from start-up services to interim management for agencies with administrative vacancies and or in need of “turn around” services, organizational assessments, and due diligence for potential purchase.

Shelly has a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Bowling Green State University and a Master’s in Business and Administration from the University of Northwest Ohio. She studied at the RJ Turnball School of Enterostomal Therapy where she became an ET nurse who is certified in wound care. She later became a licensed massage therapist after completing coursework at the Dayton School of Medical Massage.

Shelly has 28 years in the hospice and home health industry ranging from clinical hands on care to senior management of an agency of 10 home health/ hospice branches, 2 adult day facilities, 2 inpatient hospice centers, and private duty out of all branches/ sub-units. Functioning as Vice President of Operations, Shelly functioned as the highest clinical administrator of the agency. Shelly can assist with preparation for accreditation/ survey with CHAP. She can assist with clinical and regulatory issues as well as personnel management. She has experience adding additional branches/ sub-units. Shelly can assist agencies with completing ADR’s and other clinical audits successfully. Shelly functions as an expert nurse witness in legal matters. Shelly has functioned on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants in cases involving malpractice and fraud to clinical documentation review, preparation of legal documents, depositions, and testimony on behalf of the clients.
