"Survey Preparation"

This session ensures that you can run a successful "Mock Survey" and can "Check it Off" before the survey happens!

Wouldn't it be nice to have the test before you have to take it? As a home health, we do hold all of these "tests" that CMS is expecting we pass in our hands! CMS provides their quality standards, as well as the actual "test questions" ahead of time- so let's study up! This class will provide a number of "survey hacks" and walk you through your own "survey before the survey". See how all of these tools "fit together" and how we can use them to always be "survey ready".

  • The learner will be able to identify the rules that the surveyors use to conduct a CMS survey.
  • The learner will be able to discuss the process and components of a typical survey and how to prepare for each.
  • The learner will be able to build a "Survey Binder" to ensure all resources are readily accessible, to be successful when the big day comes!
