Succeeding in Medical Review Audits -- TPE is back
and so are Other CMS Contractors!
Live Webinar

The MAC is back! Yes, we had quite the hiatus during the PHE. Agencies who were on Targeted Probe and Educate had the audits stop on a dime in March of 2020. Some agencies received a few post-pay requests, but things have been fairly quiet. Now, many of the agencies who were on TPE prior, are getting letters stating that the TPE has been discontinued, and we are all awaiting for the "next big news". This session is a must to ensure that your agency is ready for not "if" you get an ADR, but "when" you get an ADR. Annette was a medical review nurse, and worked for the MAC for nearly a decade. Come learn how the reviewers view your documentation, so you can police yourself in the same way to ensure you will pass the next ADR without hesitation!

  • Define the Conditions for payment
  • Describe the TPE system and how it may impact your agency
  • Demonstrate how to use the medical review hierarchy to review a chart
