CAHSAH Committees
Committees play a major role in determining CAHSAH's activities, and in planning, supporting and fulfilling CAHSAH's goals. Committees facilitate members participation in CAHSAH activities, and serve as a training ground for future leadership.

This is an opportunity to become involved in helping to shape CAHSAH's priorities and activities for the next two years. CAHSAH depends on committee members to communicate legislative priorities and educational needs, provide membership section leadership, ensure appropriate member representation and services, identify and address reimbursement issues and promote home care.

Regional Councils

Partnership with Local Home Care Groups - Regional Councils are local groups of home care professionals formed throughout California. These organizations provide individuals an opportunity to meet and share information and coordinate education, legislative and public relations activities. CAHSAH encourages you to contact your nearest council chairperson to obtain additional information. The Regional Councils operate separately and independently from CAHSAH but collaborate on many events.

Grassroots Network

Constituent or grassroots advocacy is the active support of a cause, issue or policy at the local level rather than at the political center, such as Sacramento or Washington, DC. Constituent advocacy's goal is to establish effective communication with legislators in order to impact the outcome of legislation. This involves education your legislator about home care and informing them about how a particular piece of legislation will affect the industry.
