ABOUT
The goal of the Home Care Administrator Certificate Program (HCACP®) is to provide a supportive learning environment to you, as a home care administrator. You will be able to advance your skills and knowledge base to position your organization to prosper in the rapidly changing health care environment and to incorporate the complexities of quality, compliance, financial and strategic performance. The Home Care Administrator Certificate Program (HCACP®) was designed for Managers, Senior Administrators, DON's, DOO's, DPCS, CEO's, COO's, CFO's, Director of Training, Directors of Operation Management, Director of Business Development, Director of Social Services, Human Resources, Office Managers, Director of Clinical Services, and upper level management of a Home Care Medicare Certified agency. More experienced Administrators will gain insights and a refreshed understanding of home care or home health.

Cindy Keim serves as Corridor's Director of Clinical, Regulatory and Quality Affairs. She is responsible for the operational interpretation of emergent federal and state regulations, regulatory guidelines, and payor initiatives as it pertains to the conditions of participation, OASIS documentation, quality payment programs, and billing compliance for home health and hospice.
Cindy has dedicated her career to community-based healthcare services such as Home Health, Hospice, Infusion, Private Duty, Behavioral Health and Waiver programs. She has served as Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer, Chief Clinical Officer and Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations, Quality and Education for large national providers.
Cindy graduated from Washburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Bryan Nowicki

With more than 20 years of litigation and regulatory experience, Bryan helps hospice clients across the country navigate the heavily regulated healthcare space. Home health agencies, palliative care organizations, hospitals and skilled nursing homes are among those that also rely on Bryan's counsel. He is a staunch advocate when representing clients before local, state and federal judicial, quasi-judicial, administrative and legislative bodies. Clients also appreciate Bryan as an effective and responsive crisis manager when changing regulations destabilize daily operations. Working closely with clients, he develops practical strategies and remediation when they face issues including state and federal investigations, whistleblower complaints, audits, federal fraud and abuse claims.
Bryan understands that proactive compliance is often the best and most cost-effective defense, and he enjoys advising hospices and other healthcare clients on not only compliance but innovative concepts that can improve performance. He strives to deliver efficient solutions that meet clients' legal, clinical and operational demands.

Having practiced hospice law across the country for nearly 20 years, Meg and the Husch Blackwell Hospice & Palliative Care Team know this healthcare space and have evolved with it. Meg anticipates industry trends and efficiently clears pathways for clients large and small, whether in a 15-minute call or negotiating a multimillion-dollar Unified Program Integrity Contractor (UPIC) audit. She enjoys strategizing solutions for clients on hospice legal issues including Government audits, fraud investigations, compliance, fraud and abuse, litigation, palliative care program development, inpatient unit structures, and contracting issues.
Meg collaborates with leading groups such as the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO), fostering education and monitoring developments on behalf of clients. In addition to proactive regulatory work and resolving obstacles, Meg enjoys facilitating client growth and innovative partnership opportunities with health systems and post-acute care providers as well as guiding hospices through mergers and acquisitions. She shares insights on hospice and palliative care and speaks to industry innovators as host of the podcast Hospice Insights: The Law and Beyond. The most rewarding aspect of her practice is knowing that each person she encounters is working toward the same goal: providing compassionate, quality, end-of-life care to patients.
Sharon Seaton, RN, BSN, CHPN, HCS-O, HCS-D

Sharon Seaton has 30 years of varied Home Health and Hospice experience in clinical and senior management, as well as experience in compliance in both for-profit and non-profit organizations. Her focus has been on quality, compliance and education. As an Executive Director, her agency won an award for Hospice of the Year for growth and quality scores. She also was the recipient of a Rotary International grant for rural hospice care and served as a board member for the Colorado Hospice and Palliative Care Association. She is currently an Clinical Product Development Specialist at The Corridor Group. Sharon has been a featured speaker at conferences across the U.S. showcasing both Hospice and Home Health coding and compliance.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION & CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS (CEUs)
Continuing Education Credits will be provided to participants who view the program in its entirety. Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (Provider # CEP17394) for up to twenty-one (21) contact hours of continuing education. No partial credits can be given.
ONLINE ACCESS & INSTRUCTIONS
After course registration and payment has been submitted and received by CAHSAH, you will receive a confirmation email containing a Course Syllabus. You will be asked to review and sign the Course Syllabus and return to CAHSAH. Submission of your signed Course Syllabus is required before you can begin the on-demand course. Once CAHSAH has received your signed Course Syllabus, you will receive email instructions for logging into your course (your username, password, and link to the on-demand portal), and the link to download the course manual.

No cancellations or refunds will be issued once user login information has been sent. Unfortunately, due to the online format of this program we are unable to offer exceptions to this policy.
