Message from the Chair | April 2025
I know it is still over a month away, but now is the time to think about making plans and registering for our Annual Conference & Expo in Rancho Mirage from May 19th – May 22nd. There will be something for everyone. And Continuing Education Units will be provided – 13.5 CEUs - if you attend the entire conference.
If you have attended the CAHSAH Conference before, you know what a great experience it is. It is an outstanding way to get information, interact with other agencies and get continuing education units. And, for those who have never attended the CAHSAH Conference, you should really consider making the trip this year.
The Conference starts Monday May 19th with a welcome event in the evening. Then the full schedule of events starts Tuesday morning. (And you can start each day with breakfast being provided.) There are Keynote sessions with great speakers to start each day. Then there are breakout/concurrent sessions going on during the day with lunch being provided Tuesday and Wednesday. The breakout sessions are targeted at different provider types. There are Hospice, Medicare Certified, and Private Duty sessions along with Leadership and General Interest sessions. Thursday is a half day ending with breakout sessions to close out the event.
And you don’t want to miss the Expo with vendors providing information about their services and products. The Expo opens Tuesday evening and continues to Wednesday. The Expo is always an informative way to see what services are out there and mingle with others. Then lunch on Tuesday includes the CAHSAH Awards Luncheon which is a great way to honor those in the home care industry.
To top the conference off, you do not want to miss the PAC Event. The event is a $100 donation per person and is a great time for all. The PAC event will be at Pinz & Pints right on the hotel grounds in Rancho Mirage with duckpin bowling, brewpub foods, and classic arcade games.
The CAHSAH Annual Conference & Expo is a great way to get information, have fun and mingle with others in our industry. And the site of the conference, the Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, is a relaxing location to spend the week at the Conference. Check out the CAHSAH website for full details and more information. Hope to see you all there.
