Kasey Cheal

Founder

United Care

  1. What prompted you to enter the field of home care/home health or hospice?

I began my career in home and hospice care in my early 20s and quickly developed a deep affection for the aging population. Having a son with special needs, I have a profound respect for and firsthand understanding of the critical importance of quality caregivers

  1. What other positions/jobs have you held in the past?

Throughout my career, I have taken on various roles within the home care industry, including CNA, recruiter, staffing coordinator, client care coordinator, and manager. This diverse experience has deepened my appreciation and understanding of the home care sector.

  1. What motivates you each day?

It is a privilege to offer exceptional care to our clients during their most vulnerable moments. We are honored to be the support system for families navigating these challenging times. Additionally, we take great pride in creating job opportunities within our community and have cherished the meaningful connections we’ve built over the years.

  1. What is one goal, either professional or personal, that you are working toward achieving or one accomplishment of which you are very proud?

We recently celebrated 11 years of service, and it was only recently that I recognized how proud I am of this achievement. Often, in the midst of building and growing, we forget to acknowledge our own accomplishments. Nevertheless, our goal remains committed to expanding our agency and further supporting our community.

  1. What’s your favorite hobby or pastime?

As a busy mother of three and the head of this agency, I currently have limited time for hobbies. However, I am looking forward to enrolling in an interior design class, as it offers me a peaceful respite from my demanding responsibilities.

  1. What do you hope to gain from your membership in CAHSAH?

I aim to further develop connections with fellow professionals and remain dedicated to providing care for those in need.
